I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at VaynerMedia
Interview
Pretty easy interview. Met with 3 team members who first asked me to fill out a questionnaire on various social media scenarios. After about 20 minutes they came back in and we had a conversation where they asked my favorite social media accounts, favorite tv shows (?) and what brand I'd most like to work for.
Overall, it was a positive vibe, and went well. About a week afterwards I received an email from HR stating that they liked me and would be in touch after they figured out the logistics of some accounts. Never heard back. Followed up a month later and was told they were still "figuring things out" and would be in touch when they did. It's been 4 months.
In theory, I understand and appreciate the rolling application process, but the way VaynerMedia uses it leaves talent on the line. I can't wait around forever, and they should be forthcoming if they don't actually have anything in the works. Very disappointing!
The interview was online with their HR. HR is friendly and the process was smooth. It took about 20-30 minutes, they only want to get to know the expected salary, background, etc. After HR, then we get to another round with the user.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VaynerMedia (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
Fairly quick & easy! I went through two rounds, with two different sets of people. I received a phone call with a verbal offer and the rest is history. Really cool way of being interviewed, way less nerve wracking than most.

Question 1
What is a challenge you had in a previous role and how did you solve for it?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at VaynerMedia (New York, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
This is a cliquey, condescending, culty company and the interview reflects that. A lot of condescension and patronizing. Applicants were also asked to do an in depth research project/presentation with little to no guidance on expecations.
