It was a lot of work trying to get ViaSat to even notice me. My first interview with them was with a software engineer over the phone with a variety of technical questions. Since then, I haven't heard back from the company. They have already given out all of their offers for the year and told me that they would get back to me if they had any rejections. I don't expect them to get back to me. From speaking with this software engineer, I learned more about his experience at the company. One of the main things that stuck out to me was that roles are not as rigid as much as he would like them to be.
