I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Troy, MI) in Jul 2011
Interview
I interviewed with the store manager and she was very nice and professional. The interview was about 30 mins long and consisted of the manager asking everyone basic questions (tell me about a time...type questions). it seemed like there were a million people that worked at the store so it was very hard to get to know people. overall good experience.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
