I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2012
Interview
I was on Craigslist one day and saw that Victorias Secret was hiring. I went to the store the next day, filled out an application, and turned it in the same day to the hiring manager. I got a call two days later to come in for an interview. It was a group interview and it was shorter than I expected. The questions asked were basic interview questions. I received a call three days later with an offer and when I can come in for orientation.

Question 1
What was one thing you did not like about your previous job?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
