I applied in-person. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Jacksonville, FL) in Oct 2011
Interview
It was a group interview which could be a hit or miss but I considered it to be an opportunity for myself to shine among the others. I feel all that is really needed in a group interview is a bubbly attitude and a huge smile. Excitement to join the company goes a long way; and when I did the interview I actually was. They ask general questions that actually come from a book. My interviewer took out her book and flipped through the pages picking random questions, it was kind of humorous.

Question 1
I can't quite remember but I do recall it being a personal question and what the downfall was there was one girl who answered with a sad story as a resource and broke out into tears. Now that would have been ok but then every girl decided to answer the question the same way and everyone started to cry over answers. It got a bit awkward and off track. All I would recommend is be yourself, be different. That stands out a lot more.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
