I was taken to the back office and introduced to one of the managers in charge of hiring. I was asked why I joined the company and my customer service experience.

Question 1
How would you sell one of our items in our store to a customer?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
