I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Virtua Health (Mount Laurel, NJ) in Aug 2016
Interview
Relaxing walking into their career center. Watched a short video about the company and was brought into a private room for the interview. Sat down with the interviewer and she began asking questions and explained the job. Did not explain interview process or what to expect. The interview only lasted less than 10 minutes. I left feeling confused but thought maybe it was normal.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Virtua Health (Mount Laurel, NJ) in Apr 2016
Interview
interview process was great. Initial interview was with the talent acquisition person, then I interviewed with the nurse manager on my floor, then I did a peer interview with the staff on the floor. Everyone was great made me feel very comfortable. Nothing out of the ordinary with the interview.

Question 1
Why did you decide to become a nurse, what are your long term plans, difficult situation you had to deal with with a coworker, relating current job to nursing job youre applying for.
The office was really nice and relaxing. Staff were very polite and professional. I was brought in for the interview by a recruiter and was asked the typical questions involving personnel conflict and personal strengths and weaknesses. I was given a benefits package and the recruiter informed about standard pay and union dues. She said there were a lot of RN jobs open. The last thing she said was that I'm bringing a lot to the table due to my background. As far as I know the recruiter is looking for a department for me to interview with. That was almost two weeks ago. I feel it was a success interview, but I still feel like I'm in limbo waiting for a phone call that may or may not happen. Overall it was a pleasant first RN interview experience.
