      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2019

      Interview

I applied for the job through a recommendation at the end of May 2019 and a recruiter reached out to me for a phone screen some time in July. The role was switched from being a project coordinator to Executive Administrator. I had the phone screen for the position on 7/22 and it moved fairly quickly from there. I then had an in-person interview with another Executive Administrator and the hiring manager (Director of the team I'd support) shortly thereafter. My in-person interview happened on 8/1. I then had a phone interview with one of the VP's I would have supported on 8/5. I spoke with the hiring manager again to go over some details on 8/6 and was asked by the EA that I interviewed with to come in-person again on 8/7. On 8/8 I came in for another in-person interview with said EA, a newly hired EA, and the hiring manager. I was essentially given a verbal offer. Hiring manager told me they were excited to have me join the team, we spoke about salary expectations and start dates, and were on the same page about that. I did not hear back from the team, so I sent an email on 8/13 to follow up. I was then reached out with the final decision on 8/15 through an automated HR system email and was rejected. Totally unexpected and honestly unprofessional.

      Application

      Interview

Recruiter reached out to schedule the interview, but misled with the time zone difference. Had to email at last minute to confirm the time. Finally got to talk to the hiring manager who straight out told me I'm overqualified and then stopped the interview without even spending more time to get to know me as a person.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Foster City, CA) in Sep 2015

      Interview

Very smoothly. Initial Screening then face to face. It was all very professional. The folks I met and spoke with were all very personable and candid about the role. The recruiter followed up all in a good timely manner. I had even asked for interview feedback since the position was offered to another candidate and she provided it. It was all very positive.
