Very strange interview process. There was no initial HR screening, I was sent straight to a 45 minute interview with the hiring manager. Then, I took a hackerrank test that had some QA questions, it was not very technical. No coding or SQL questions were asked. The recruiter told me that in my next interview, the interviewers would go over my hackerrank exam in more detail. I specifically asked her if there would be any whiteboarding sessions, and she said 'no'. Well, she was very wrong. The entirety of both interviews were whiteboarding sessions on java and SQL. They didn't leave time for me to ask questions at the end, and both interviewers had no personality or any interest in myself. 2 weeks later, I got a generic automated email saying I was not picked for the position. I am very shocked that such a great company had such a terrible interview process, and such disconnected recruiters. I had decided I didn't want to work for Visa anyway after the 3rd interview because I never made a single connection with any employee, and was very disappointed with my recruiter. It seems like they just want someone who is extremely smart but has no personality or communication skills. Just my opinion.
