Question 1
How do you see a product marketing role fit in the team
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VoPay (Vancouver, BC) in Oct 2025
Interview
After several rounds of interviews with VoPay, including meetings with senior leadership, I received a verbal offer and was genuinely excited to join. I even began adjusting personal and family logistics to meet their on-site requirements.
Then, without any warning or explanation, the offer was suddenly withdrawn. Despite multiple follow-ups with HR and leadership, I never received a single reply.
It was a deeply disappointing and unprofessional experience that showed a lack of transparency and respect for candidates. For a company that emphasizes innovation and trust, this process reflected neither.

Question 1
The interview centered more on my willingness to meet strict on-site requirements than on my skills, experience, or fit for the position — which felt like misplaced priorities for a senior-level role
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VoPay (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
Last year, I had a final interview with the CEO at Vopay, and they completely ghosted me after the 3 rounds of interview.
The first interview was a 30-min call with a product manager. The second interview was an in-person interview which is a whiteboard challenge but you'll be provided documents and conduct it solo for 30-40 minutes, then present it to the product manager for the last 15 minutes. Lastly, you'll have the final interview with CEO for about 30 minutes. Questions weren't very technical but more related to your thinking process and goal.
