The initial screening with the recruiter went well. They were friendly and asked basic, straightforward logistic questions. It was also convenient that the rest of the interviews were done virtually.
However, having three separate rounds with multiple people still feels like a lot for an entry-level position. The rounds with the hiring managers were very disorganized. Both interviews were with people in the exact same department who all held the same job title of VP. The questions themselves became very vague and didn't seem to have a clear, objective system behind them. They just made vague statements like "asking a lot of questions is good" and kept repeating that they "wear many hats." It felt more like they were judging candidates based on personal feelings and vibes rather than skills or teachability. On top of that, the interviewers couldn’t answer basic questions about the role or what I would be doing day-to-day. It requires a lot of time and effort for an interview process that isn't very transparent.
