      Senior Program Manager Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Vrbo in Nov 2016

      Interview

I sent 2 applications to HomeAway, one for a job I was overqualified and one where I was underqualified. But the recuiter found my profile interesting and contacted me. After a chat on the phone (end of Oct) about what I'm looking for and what I can offer he said he might have something soon and will get back to me. Which he did. I then interviewed over the phone (end Nov) with the current post holder. We wen't through my CV and he asked me questions that aimed at how I would deal if the situation was in a certain way. That certain way is how it actually works at HomeAway as he wanted to find out if I can handle their structure, setup etc. After several messages from the recruiter to let me know that he still doesn't have an update if I'm selected for the next round I unfortunately got a negative response (beginning Jan).
