A presentation was required to the Brand team and then individual interviews afterwards. Do your research beforehand because they asked about the specific social content they post on their channels.

Interview

The interview process was quite thorough, but similar to many other large Technology companies. I interviewed in person with the Hiring Manager over coffee, which was great. Next, I spoke with the Director of Product for the division over the phone, which led to an onsite interview that consisted of 4 sessions culminating in a Product Presentation to a panel of Product and Engineering teammates.

Interview Questions
  • The most difficult question was from an Engineering lead that asked me to solve the Convex Hull problem on the whiteboard by writing an algorithm that could solve it.

It was long. I had about three interviews then spent two weeks making a case study and presenting it. Didn’t get the job in the end, long process not worth anything after all.

Interview

It was a lengthy interview process with initial interview with corporate HR, then panel or individual interviews with team members. You also have to do multiple follow ups with the recruiter and there is no clear understanding of where you are in the process

Interview Questions
  • Some of the interview questions were "behavior" based, potentially. There wasn't a clear idea of what they were looking for in these hypothetical situations that were very specific to only things Vrbo's team would have encountered making it difficult to pull something from your past work history out of thin air.

Interview

After the interviews I had now I understand why they have bad rating. The interview with the HR was great, however after that I had an interview with the manager and then they sent a math (equations mostly) and a cognitive test and last was a presentation that bear in mind that you have to imagine the scenario yourself as they don't give you a roleplay. During the presentation they asked ridiculous questions which you can only have answers if you are working for the company and mind that you need to create a performance scenario for your accounts making up numbers and consider previous performance for accounts that you still don't manage. After the presentations of around 1 hour, I was still asked " the standard behavior questions" The interview was unnecessarily hard for such a company and low salary. PS: The math test I still don't get it, what was that for?
