I applied online. I interviewed at WalkMe (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Jun 2020
Interview
I was interviewed to WalkMe 2 years ago.
At first, they reached out and sent me a home assignment which took about 2 days and I have completed.
Afterwards, they called me for an onsite day of two interviews.
The first one was with the team leader, that was okay and went pretty good, and the second one was with two VPs/Executives, I don't remember of which department.
They then started asking me if I have coding experience, which I did not - and in the job description and throughout the process, they never mentioned that this is required for the position.
The home assignment also didn't contain any code questions.
Afterwards, I've asked HR about it, because I wasn't ready for this and it was not discussed or mentioned. She said she will check and will let me know.
After a few days that she didn't contact me, I sent her a message to ask for an update, and she then said they've decided to move with other candidates, as I "lacked the understanding of the position nature".
My resume clearly didn't contain any coding experience or learning, and I told HR I don't have that experience and she still invited me.
Needless to say I felt humilated, and that they disrespected me and my time.
