I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview process is pretty straight forward, basically ‘is your schedule flexible?’, ‘can you work weekends?’, and that’s about it. It’s not hard to get hired at all, basically just be yourself, and just make sure you know what position you applied to before you get in over your head.

Question 1
Weekend availability? Any flexibility in scheduling at all? Are you comfortable working weekends/holidays?
Walmart needs to do a much better job when it comes to responding to job applications and keeping applicants updated. I applied to every Walmart in my city, and not one of them followed up with me about an interview or even let me know if they decided to move forward with someone else. On top of that, the stores barely answer the phone, which makes the process even more frustrating. Companies need to be more organized and communicative with applicants instead of leaving people waiting endlessly with no answers.

They asked about availability, a couple of questions, and talked about attendance points. It was a fairly short and simple interview, and I got hired on the spot. I met with the department coach and one lead.
