Senior Product Manager - OPI Interview

      Oct 2, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Boston, MA
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Sep 2018

      Interview

Initial recruitment was a little bit sketchy. As all the other reviews mentioned the process is the same. However I will will a bit more detail. After recruiter, had initial interview with a person that would be my peer. Then had on-site interview with 4 group directors which consisted of 2 case studies and 2 behavioral interviews. The 1st Person with the case study showed up 25mins late and so jumped into the case study right away. 2nd case - Unfortunately the interviewer’s came across as entitled, passive and dismissive. He one of the very first employee which may explain the hostility. He structured his questions as part of his comment/statement. With that I mean he would talk continuously and then pause. We have a few awkward moments like that. I wish he paused and say something like based on the following what would be the XYZ.... Overall, I would not recommend relocating and it was a bit chaotic in the office but that because they are hiring aggressively and a lot of changes are happening The following are a mixture of phone and in person interviews
