Talked to HR Department first. Very nice people and work hard to get to know you and your experience! Once they do that, they have you talk to a team lead or manager in the department you are seeking to work in for an interview. I had 3 phone interviews because I was originally looking to do PR/Marketing internship, but was switched to lead gen.
