I was interviewed in Jan 2018 at Wells Fargo Embassy Tech village office,Bangalore.
The interview was scheduled at 2:30 pm and they mentioned to reach half hour early i.e. 2 PM.But they made me sit with many others in the outside security with no hint what is happening till 3 pm.Then they call inside and made us sit in another area for 10-15 minutes.
Then called and took each of us to different quiet rooms and made to sit till 3:30pm. I had no idea how will the interview be with a system and IP phone in front of me.
Then there come 2 people to take interview and funny part is they are just interviewers and do not have much idea on the project. After interview they gave signs that i will not suit the role.But still later asked me to wait till 5, after which they say you can leave for the day.Bad way to treat and handle the interviews.Waited from 2pm to 5pm for just 1 round on a weekday.
There were 2 rounds of interview, They have asked basic of Java, Javascript and Json. If you are Full stack developer you have been asked with some questions in microservice, Kafka and Redis

They just asked about race condition, dead lock in java and IIFE, Basic question on Json, Basic question in microservice

Round 1: Coding assessment.
Round 2: 1 hour F2F Interview.
Standard Coding Questions. Questions were mostly programming language agnostic. I felt - Interviewer was not patient enough to listen to my answers, quite often, he was cutting me off, midway.

Explain your approach to identify root cause of slow response in production and your solution.
Data from external services are dumped into table T . The data will either be integer or varchar. If data type is integer, then send it to table T1, if data type is varchar, then send it to T2. How will you design this process?

4. Inperson interview as per their policy
5. Online HR round (compensation discussion)
Their compensation team did not consider RSU though it is part of CTC and HR tried to lowball. They were not ready to negotiate the compensation at all and were giving 50% hike on the base.
Even though I was earning more than what they offered me.
I declined as I did not like the behaviour of HR.
I would suggest them ask the expectations earlier and if they dont have the budget dont proceed with interview and waste candidates time.
