Went through multiple rounds of interviews with variety of people over a very long period of time. Each interview was spaced out. Very few updates and little expectation setting between or with regard to time frames. Overall the interviews were not overbearing and the interviewers were engaged and asking relevant questions, although somewhat repetitive in nature.
I applied online. WF recruiter contacted me and we set up a call. Call went great, I thought. He said it would be a couple week's process. He ended it with saying that he will recommend me to the hiring manager for an interview and that I will hear back the following week. Then nothing. No emails or calls. I followed up after not hearing back and he said he'd get back to me the next week. Then nothing again. Until a few days ago when I received a generic rejection email. No email from the recruiter, no phone call. For a company that is constant legal trouble, you would think they'd make every effort to treat candidates like humans so they can attract and retain good people. But they do not. Company culture starts with how you treat people and how employees treat each other. If at a time when they theoretically should treat you as best as possible so as to attract talent, this was a poor showing. Find employment elsewhere if you can. Find a company that treats you respectfully and professionally.

Question 1
Usual generic recruiter type phone interview questions.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Wells Fargo in Apr 2022
Interview
Recruiting screening by a recruiter who didn’t know the job or the industry. Interview was two panels and the hiring manager. Never heard back one way or the other. Randomly checked status online and discovered I was declined. When I reached out to the recruiter and hiring manager the feedback was that it was a system issue and to get over it. The company is great, the recruiting organization has good people but the recruiting and hr teams are generally in shambles and your expectations should be low.
