The hiring process at Wheely takes an average of 21 days when considering 4 user submitted interviews across all job titles. To compare, the average duration of hiring at similar companies like BlackRock, Inc. is 14 days, Fabricated Software, Inc. is 2 days, and Apple Inc. is 21 days. Candidates applying for Senior Product Manager had the quickest hiring process (on average 14 days), whereas Senior Manager roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 28 days).
First, there was the algorithmic section.
Two problems.
The first was very simple.
The second was about topologically sorting a graph. The interviewer didn't know the classic Kahn algorithm for solving this problem. When I tried to solve it this way, he said it was wrong, that there was no such solution. He spent about 15 minutes convincing me that such a solution doesn't exist, that it can't be applied, and that it's incorrect. I only wanted a DFS solution.
You not only need to solve the algorithmic problem, but also solve it using a non-optimal method that the interviewer knows.

Question 1
find the maximum multiplication of numbers in an array.
Made it to the final round with the CEO who was late without apologies as other revieweres mentioned. He showed little capacity and/or willingness to hold a two-way conversation. Silly questions about the performance rating I got for the role from 6 years ago and about my GPA (UK unis don't even have the GPA system). The previous interviews up until the CEO stage were pleasant or average at least, though. The TA partner mentioned providing feedback after rejection, but ghosted in the end. Overall, the experience left me an impression that processes at the company are not really in order.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wheely
Interview
The interview experience for this Customer Service role was professional from start to finish. The HR screening served as a helpful "vibe check" that set a positive tone for the process, even if it wasn't the deciding factor in the final result. This was followed by a take-home task with a flexible three-day completion window and a subsequent presentation to the group manager. The process moved quickly and concluded with detailed, constructive feedback, which was a significant highlight. Given that the job listing has remained active for two months, it is clear the team maintains a high bar for new hires/graduates. Prepare this like a Google interview may help, although I am not sure if they will pay more then tech company
For a Customer Service case study, I would recommend revising both Product Design (PD) and Data Analysis (DA) type questions. Unlike other APM which has general focus on product sense, this process requires a hands-on approach and an understanding of the industry.
