There was a three phase interview process. First I spoke with an internal recruiter who scouted me on LinkedIn. Once he had a feel for my skill set, he set up a call with my current manager. I spoke with him briefly about my past positions and work experience. Finally I was called in for a third interview. I was asked again about my work experience in depth and my qualifications. I also felt a connection to my current manager, sometimes people just get along well. I was hired after that and I have been enjoying myself ever since.
