I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer
Interview
I was approached through LinkedIn by the recruiter who was based in the UK. She discussed the job with me in detail - and sent me the JD. We arranged a telephone interview, which went well. She flew to meet me for a f2f interview and after that the final interview was with the country manager and regional director. Very thorough and professional process throughout - and was kept in the loop
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer (New York, NY) in May 2024
Interview
Reached out to by third-party recruiter saying Wolters Kluwer loved my resume. Job description was general and brief, but mentioned customer service and technical troubleshooting ability. Meeting was set up with three people, two managers and then the team lead for a 30-minute Teams call. Started off with introductions, then actually stated the software and sector, size and structure of team, and the training timeline. Asked straightforward questions such as describing a challenge facing a customer and how it was solved, career goals, etc.
Two questions I was unprepared for were: 1. Are you comfortable with the pay structure of the role? I don't know if this was because they were expecting me to negotiate or what. I wouldn't have interviewed if I wasn't "comfortable" with the pay structure. 2. Are you comfortable being "chained" to a desk for 8 hours a day? I responded yes and related to how my previous role involved working for over 9 hours from a desk, but she still seemed unconvinced.
I applied online. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer (London, England) in Apr 2023
Interview
Interview process was straightforward. A phone screening which led to an interview with the hiring manager. After the interview I was told id be contacted by the recruiter. This did not happen. After numerous emails requesting an update I gave up. Extremely disappointed that they were not even bothered to send a rejection email. Ghosting a candidate shouldn't be the way forward.
Quick interview over teams, was asked basic interview questions. Introductions, how do you work in a team, how do you work under pressure. Was offered the position after the interview.
