Applied online and was contacted via phone a week later by a recruiter to set-up a phone interview for the next day. The phone interview was about 30 minutes and we went over salary, expectations and typical phone screening Q&A. Then I was scheduled for a phone interview with the hiring manager, a director of sales a week later. The phone interview was mostly
about my background and my sales experience. He gave me a project designed to test my skills for the position I was applying for. I completed the project in about a week and we met again to go over it. During that meeting he asked me some additional questions and informed me that the next step would be a meeting with his boss. A week later I was contacted by a recruiting coordinator to arrange for me to flight to TX meet a senior regional sales director. Then the trip was canceled later that day because the sales director was going to fly to Phoenix and meet with me then. A week later the recruiter confirmed the meeting day and time. I went fully prepared but I was surprised that the questions were more about what I do on my free time, what my motivation is etc.....
