      Entry-Level Account Executive Interview

      Jan 29, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp

      Interview

Very Transparent. I applied in late December, had a phone interview in second week of January. The interview consisted of a role play and general questions about my motivations for applying and my experience and education. I was immediately invited to interview in their offices two weeks later. The office interview was about an hour and it consisted of a tour of the office as well as two role plays and more questions. The role plays were for setting an appointment and closing a deal and I received instant feedback which I had to utilize when I re-did my role plays. I was asked to describe a time I had almost given up, a time I messed up and corrected my mistake, and I why I should be hired. It was very simple and transparent. They describe the commission, salary, and training structure and the benefits you receive on day one. I found out the very next day that I got the job.
