The interview process started off smoothly. I had a 10-minute conversation with the hiring manager, which went well overall. However, what followed was quite disappointing.
Despite multiple follow-ups, never received any clear update in over three weeks. The recruiter does answer calls but only says that they are “still reviewing candidates.” It's surprising and frustrating that a decision-making process is taking this long for what seemed like a quick round.
While I understand that hiring can take time, the lack of transparency and communication reflects poorly on the candidate experience. A simple update or realistic timeline would’ve gone a long way in maintaining professionalism.
