I applied online. I interviewed at ZayZoon (Squamish, BC)
Interview
The interview process felt extremely organic. I appreciated that right away on the first introduction they focused on being authentic and trying to disarm the regular stress of interview processes. This helped me show up as my best self and I think it's something companies try and achieve, but they've succeeded. While the interview process felt easy because of this, it was appropriately challenging with some good questions and a fun leadership presentation.

Question 1
There were many questions we went through, however, an example of one of the questions was "How do you handle saying no and having more challenging conversations with people, when it might have friction" (More or less)
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ZayZoon
Interview
The interview process was meaningful and not toilsome. There was an initial screen, a call with the team I would be joining, and a more technical call with the same team. The technical was actually appropriate to my role and also gave me the opportunity to show off a project I had done in the past, which is something I hadn't experienced, but enjoyed. Overall, every step of the way was extremely pleasant.

Question 1
They asked me to provide an outline of a previous project I was proud of. What it entailed, what it solved, how it evolved, what I learned, and why I chose the implementation that I did.
Very positive interview experience on all levels with ZayZoon. Quick and efficient! There were about 4-5 interviews in total with people success, managers, SDR and the founder. Very straight forward and learned a lot about the company.
