I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zeelo in Apr 2025
Interview
In a few words: a mess. They first listed the job through an agency they work with called Motive Group and a few days later I received a phone call from their recruiter there. We had a positive chat/screening and that was followed by another one a few days later and then there was silence on the radio for more than 10 days at which point I nudged him again. I was told that the JD was changed in the middle of recruitment which is not a sign of a well-organised recruitment process. The JD was still a good fit so I asked to continue with my application. The following stage was with Zeelo's CTO/Engineering Manager. It was a pleasant unstructured chat but it involved no technical questions/exercises as I was expecting for that stage. A few days later and I received no feedback at which point I prompted their recruiter at Motive Group again. I was told that feedback was positive and their CIO was away so it was harder to arrange the following stage and I should just wait. Another 2 weeks later of not hearing anything and I nudged him again to see if there's any progress with my application. I heard back the following day that they wouldn't go forward with my application as they were looking for something else. In the meantime, they probably forgot about my application that's why they went missing for over 2 weeks. The whole process took 1.5 month (!)
All in all it felt as they had no clue of how to recruit people. Bad communication, very long waits, no set process on how to interview candidates and no clear idea of what they were after.
Being turned down is part of interviewing but employers massively wasting your time is not acceptable.

Interview
Started off with the person interviewing me being late. Didn't even apologise. Then it went downhill from there. They showed no interest whatsoever and it felt like they were just ticking off a box in interviewing.
After the interview I didn't hear a word for 3 weeks, when they sent me a message saying "Thanks for your interest in this position. Unfortunately we've reviewed your application and have decided we won't be progressing your application for this role."
Don't waste your time with this company!
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zeelo (London, England) in Mar 2022
Interview
Put forward by an agency. The initial interview was over the phone.
Regrettably, I think their corporate culture might have a strong influence from Addison Lee.
I get the feeling that they are looking for mercenary product practitioners, and not those who will buy into their mission
