I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zendesk (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Met with hiring manager, HR, and key stakeholders. It was many interviews scheduled back to back. They seemed to care about my schedule and were able to hold a single room for the interviews so that I didn't have to bounce around. One of the stakeholders was in another state and we did that interview using web conference software. Overall it was a good experience.
many rounds of interviews for the so called cultural fit. their culture is definitely not a healthy one, promoting blame and incompetence.
they are totally in their own world, incompetent, unprofessional and wasting your time. they have no idea of running any programs, instead they pass biased judgements.
management is oblivious to the toxic culture brewing there. also they find suitable to say they hire people from psychology school to work in IT
