      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Zendesk (Dublin, Dublin) in Aug 2013

      Interview

Two days after submitting my application I got an email from the recruiting team confirming they received it and that it is in line to be reviewed. Two days following that communication (on Friday) I got an email from the recruiter who scheduled a phone interview for the following Tuesday. The interview was short - right at the beginning the recruiter (who was calling from the UK) stated that she had loads of other candidates to interview, and I came first because I tweeted a question to Zendesk. She asked me how long I have been in Dublin, and having my CV in front of her stated that I got no prior experience supporting a product, and that the job was highly technical - which, given my keen interest for technology and all the qualities a customer service rep must have, was not a good fit. Having familiarized myself with the Zendesk approach to hiring customer support staff known as "Don’t sweat for tech: make customer service skills your hiring priority" (you can find it on their bog), I was surprized to hear that. The recruiter did not ask me what I knew about Zendesk, or any other questions related to customer support. She said that she'll pass my CV to the hiring manager, and if approved, I'll get a demo task by Friday. But on Thursday the status of my application on Jobvite turned from "In Process" to "Not Selected". No communication on that status change followed.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Zendesk (Madison, WI)

      Interview

I received an email invitation for an interview, went over the position and expectations in the role with the interviewer. It was a very pleasant experience overall. Received an email for a second interview, and asking when I would have availability for it. I responded promptly with my hours, which were extremely flexible. I never received and email or call to confirm or deny the appointment, and my attempts at contacting the person that suggested the interview were neither acknowledged nor reciprocated. Several months later, I received a generic email indicating someone else was selected for the position.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zendesk (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2015

      Interview

The recruiter found my profile on LinkedIn. I was organised with the first screening interview which went really well. The recruiter asked the questions about my past experience and why I am interested in this position. I was then provided with the information about the company in general, all the benefits (which made me want to work there even more) and the role itself. The recruiter promised to send my CV to management and get back to me in a few hours with their feedback. As promised she got back to me soon and organised interviews in the office. Basically I had two interviews in the office in one day: one peer-to-peer interview with team-leads and one interview with the managers where I also demonstrated my product knowledge. I found all the questions really relevant to this position and showed my wish to work in this company. All the interviewers were nice and interested in my profile. After I left the office I got a call from the recruiter immediately with the job offer. I was more than happy to accept it.
