Had to talk regarding the game design process with the lead game designer and explain the same. There were two panels members. One junior and one senior. Overall they looked for the passion in games.

Why did you make a certain decision in the game design process
I applied through LinkedIn and a couple of weeks down the line received a mail for a video call with one of their "game designers" who asked me decades old design related problems most of which you can easily search for and find on the internet.
Post call, I mailed them 10 times at least never to get a reply back.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zynga (Bengaluru) in Jun 2020
Interview
Very smooth process. There were three rounds - one HR another with the team lead. Everything was completed within two weeks. The longest round was the assignment one which had some beginner design questions,
