Enjoyable experience. 1st stage was a phone call with the manager to go through my CV, the company and the role in more detail.
I was then invited into the office, to do a presentation, and answered some questions afterwards.
The owner of the company, was a real gent and I throughly enjoyed speaking with him and his visions for the company.
I was then invited into the office for a final chat with lasted one hour, with the manager and one of the sales directors. This went well, and covered off some of the questions we didn't have time to go through previously. However, for around 10 minutes of the interview, I was sat there without being asked any questions, and they were discussing where I could potentially sit within the business.
Towards the end of the interview, the director then made a comment about the way I spoke (I am from London, with a fairly strong regional accent), and how it would essentially be looked down upon in the business and the partners they work with/for.
He didn't mean to cause any offence - but he did, and it ultimately made my decision to not take their offer, for the position.
The marketing manager and the owner made the experience really enjoyable and I'd like to thank them for their time.
