Primera entrevista muy buena, con HR. Segunda entrevista muy rara, parecía ya decidida a no avanzar. Cuando pedí feedback, era sobre todas cosas que había hecho y que estaban en mi CV.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at buynomics (Berlin) in Nov 2025
Interview
I applied via linkedin and the recruiter reached out to me for my availability on the first call, it was just an intro call where I got more information about the company, the locations, ways of work, the offered salary etc. which is really great that they were very honest and upfront. Then I was invited to a 75 minute live coding round with the hiring manager, the round was super easy, 3 different question SQL, Node and React I finished them all within time. Then I waited for a week but no feedback came. By that time I got an offer from another firm. so i stopped the process

I had one of the most unprofessional interview experiences of my career with this company. I was scheduled for a Zoom interview and waited 25 minutes in the meeting room with no communication from the recruiter or anyone else.
Only after I reached out did I learn that the role had actually been closed before the interview, but no one had informed me. I had prepared extensively and organized my day around this discussion, so discovering the cancellation only after waiting was extremely disappointing.
Mistakes happen, but failing to notify a candidate that a position is no longer available — and allowing them to wait in a live interview slot — reflects a serious lack of respect for candidates’ time and a clear breakdown in internal process.
The recruiter later apologized and blamed a “system error,” but this kind of oversight should not occur in any professional hiring process.
Advice to the company:
Improve candidate communication, implement basic process checks, and ensure interview schedules reflect real-time role status. The candidate experience matters — and this one was unacceptable.
