There weren't any tech questions as such. Questions were mainly based on my resume and my future plans. It was more about convincing the interviewers that you would not leave the company in the near future. The panelists were very polite and humble (most of them were divisional DGMs I would later learn!)

The formal written maths test was difficult, and the hands-on practical involved building a tower out of plates of metal and nuts and bolts, which was stressful when under the pressure of being timed! The interview consisted of questions such as "what sort of things are important to have and be aware of before starting a large-scale project"
