I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at iCIMS (Holmdel, NJ) in Dec 2017
Interview
I applied directly through the iCIMS careers page job board. I was contacted by an internal recruiter at iCIMS for an initial phone screen. After that, there was an online coding challenge that takes up to three hours. Then there was a more technical phone screen with a hiring manager and an engineer. I spoke to the manager first, then did some more online coding challenges with the engineer. Lastly, I was invited to iCIMS' new office in Holmdel for a series of interviews with engineers and managers. There were whiteboard problems with the engineers and experience-level questions with the managers.
The recruiter was a critical part of the application process and I felt was a true advocate for me. Everyone I interviewed with was very positive and transparent. It was a pleasant experience.
