    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at iNautix Technologies.

    Interview

I went through Employee Referral and I am a Lateral/ experienced hire. The process took roughly 6+ weeks. There were 3 rounds of in-depth interviews - 2 managerial and 1 Techno-managerial rounds. Each of these were about 45-50 mins each. After the first round, the HR called (about 2 weeks later) and requested me to attend F2F interviews in their Chennai office for the other rounds. The managers are extremely polite and they are honest in their views and opinions. Despite the long lengthy interviews, there wasn't a moment when I felt uncomfortable or probed too much. They look keenly for the candidate's thought process, willingness to learn and how they would fit into the company culture. These interviews are followed by HR round [IF the hiring manager has given a Go-ahead for the candidate] where you would discuss regarding current CTC, expected CTC and your reasons to join iNautix. HR discussion will happen over the phone. Mostly, if you've made it till the HR round - you have got the offer unless there are any exorbitant demands/ hike requested. Post the HR round, the offer letter is rolled out 2-3 weeks later.

Observation: There's a lot of communication gap between HRs and hiring managers, which really takes up a LOT of time. Many candidates wouldn't choose to wait, hence would quickly accept another offer by that time. I wish that the hiring process could be made a lot better in the future in this aspect. But overall, I would rate the recruitment process as smooth and mostly hassle-free (though it is quite slow).

    Interview Questions

    • Questions on my current role at xx organization, what are my responsibilities, how I handle them, End-to-end duties, challenges and how I overcame them, Business Analyst basics, Questions in Finance from Capital Markets, general happenings in the world that have an Economic impact. The mix of questions is quite brilliant, and I have never been through such an intelligent assessment. It's a process which thoroughly drained me, yet which I enjoyed for its intellectual capacity.   Answer Question
