Interview
Job posted on Monster. The owner emailed me directly with interest since the contact thru Monster never reached me. We set a time and I met with three interviewers the same day individually. I met with the owner, the office/finance manager, the network administrator -- all individually. They were all very nice and personable. They didnt make me feel uncomfortable at all. I was advised that there would be a 2nd interview if I was selected and a final decision would be made from there. I was contacted that the position was given to someone else. I wrote back with the usual "thanks and could I have done anything different" email. The owner responded immediately that my resume and my interview was excellent, but the candidate they chose had a skill/experiance that they hadnt thought of nor was it on the job description until they the chosen candidate showed up with that skill. they felt it was a what the postion needed the most. It was overall --other than not getting the job--a positive experiance. They didnt make me linger about whether or not I got the job, which I appreciate.
