I applied online. I interviewed at lululemon (New York, NY) in Sep 2017
Interview
I applied for an assistant manager and got an email inviting me to a group interview. I have read the reviews posted on here and can say it was as everyone else has said. At the end of the interview we were told they were only hiring for PT and "maybe" one FT educator and that the assistant manager position was "just recently filled". I was not as shocked as another person was who then thanked them for their time and left at that moment. It was also confirmed that they did not in fact have a lead key position available either. You have to admit that by doing this they are getting in people with quality resumes even if it's a bit on the shady side. I can say that it was the most relaxing and unique interview experience I have ever had.
The questions need to be answered in STAR Method, 4 questions, and come with questions to ask for the interviewer. You are assessed unbiased on how you clearly answer the question through the STAR Method.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at lululemon in Oct 2025
Interview
Disappointing experience.
After 5 interview rounds and constant reassurance from HR and line manager about my 'strong fit,' the role was given to an internal candidate.
If a company prioritizes internal hires regardless of experience, they shouldn't lead external candidates on with false hope.
The process felt disorganized and disrespectful of my time.
