The whole process (from the application to the rejection) took nearly 2 months.
Pros:
- Polite HRs and tech people.
Cons:
- Overcomplexity of the hiring process.
- Illogical structure of the process.
- HM is holding out for the unicorns (quite typical for the current tech market).
Before getting to the finish you will need to pass at least four interview stages and spend at least 6-7 weeks of your time. In my opinion, it's a bit much for a startup... but okay, may be it is just the tech market in 2024.
As for the start, you have to prepare a take-home assignment, before they even talk to you. The assignment, in my case, was pretty large - taking two full workdays to complete. The next step is a screening call with HRs - all quite standard here. The third stage is a technical interview with the team including some live coding. And finally, only after this stage, you have an opportunity to talk with the HM about your past projects experience - actually, where I was disqualified. In my opinion, this is a nonsense - instead of getting rejected after the first round (or in worst case - after the second) because of your profile missing some essentials for the role, and saving for both interviewers and a candidate lots of time, you have to spend at least few workdays on interview preparations only to know that you did not have a chance from the very beginning.
Respect your time, think twice before applying to them...

HR will do screening with one round. Official 1st round half part do ML related questions , half part do simple coding. 2nd round all ML based questions with HRM. The interviewer is a bit silent for 1st round, for 2nd round the interviewer has strong personal opinion on the tech/strategy that he preferred so be prepared.

Applied online and HR reached out to me the next day. HR communicated in a polite and clear manner, was flexible as well when requesting to have the interview on another day. However, was curious to find out the salary range for the role as it was not shared.
Interviewers were knowledgable about the role and manage to answer all my questions.
So far was a good experience because of the flexibility given and prompt communication.
