Claremont Graduate University (CGU) offers sunshine as well as strong academics to students. About 35 miles from Los Angeles, the university provides master's and doctoral degrees in 22 disciplines including education, mathematics, and psychology. A member of the Claremont University Consortium, the university is made up of nine academic schools including arts and humanities, educational studies, and politics and economics. The Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management also is housed on the Claremont Graduate University campus. The relatively small university, with an enrollment of about 2,000, focuses on giving its students individualized attention. CGU was founded in 1925.
