AST Pune salutes the spirit of womanhood! As we continue to make great news in the areas of digital transformation, AST Pune had taken up a resolve to transform lives of underprivileged women on the International Women’s day! Our team of women employees led by Vidya Khedekar and well supported by Supriya Sinha, Radhika Bellure and rest team visited Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS) https://maharshikarve.ac.in/ A non-profit organization focused on transforming the lives on underprivileged women. It has a century long history of dedicated work towards making women educated and self-reliant. It's a 124-years-old parent body, which has been committed to “Empowerment of Women through Education”. It was established in 1896 by the great visionary and social worker Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve to provide shelter to destitute women. The entire AST India team came together and contributed items of daily use, games, books & stationery items, etc to MKSSS. They spent half day at the institution .Indeed, a very special way to celebrate the spirit of womanhood!
Applications Software Technology LLC (AST) was founded in 1995 as a specialized Oracle E-Business Suite systems integrator with the objective of helping customers realize the full potential of their investment in Oracle Applications. I have been with AST for more than 12 years now and that itself talks thousand words for this company. Proud to be part of a company with a great culture, leadership, people and vision. I am looking forward to see it grow many folds that it has all the potential to.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Applications Software Technology (Dallas, TX) in December 2019.
First two rounds of interview with the recruiter, which was lot of boasting and high minded talk not grounded in reality. After that two technical rounds of interview. First round was with a senior manager who did not have much knowledge of my functional area. He impromptu included a hard core technical person in the phone call. Questions were very technical and the impromptu participant had no professional communication skills. The second technical round was good with some solid questions. At end of interview, no communication was received from recruiter for few weeks. I followed up with a call and recruiter said I did good in both rounds and they liked my profile. But they didn't have suitable position and are looking for another position. Why would you waste a candidates time if you don't have position in the beginning? After that followed up second time and recruiter abruptly ended call citing another call. I never heard back from AST again, no idea what happened. I would not interview with such callous company again.
