I worked at Axen full-time (More than a year)
Opportunity to work with various customers and if you're lucky you can have an interesting mission. The top management use to be very good at communication / manipulation. It is always inspiring to witness the effectiveness of their tricks.
Management doesn't care about you. They'll try to strech your resume as much as they can to make it fit, even for jobs you don't have the right competence or interest.
In geneva, they hire french consultant with very low salaries compared to the swiss market. Be carefull!
Advice to Management
Stop treating consultants like meat
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Axen in June 2009.
They are very focused to looking for people with the exact IT skills, and want your affinity with aspect of IT to be proven.
The interviewing process consisted of three rounds: one motivational, one skill-focused and one with the board.
Axen has a very open work culture, with short communication paths, but with high competition between the individuals.
