I worked at CCC Transportation full-time (More than 10 years)
Money is good if you work 14 plus hours a day.
Management wants or expects 100 percent of tractor and individual's time, 16 on and 10 hours off is their goal and they will run that clock all the way to 16 if they can. No life/work balance here unless your on a good dedicated schedule.
Advice to Management
You would keep more people (less turn over) if you paid more, work less and stop overbooking loads you can't cover.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at CCC Transportation (Auburndale, FL) in September 2015.
over the phone interview with recruiter, asked very basic questions as to what experience do you have and the type of driver position you are looking for. then they tell that they have to approve you for a open position and from there they set you up with a paid orientation start date.
they really try to low ball you in terms of pay, my advice, fight for a better rate of pay or move on to a company that can respect your counter offer
