    Pros

The can-do attitude and camaraderie of the team keep everyone going. The flexibility and work-life balance are phenomenal. Yes you work hard and often odd hours but you can do it on your terms. Lots of respect and empowerment from upper management.

    Cons

It has been a challenging year for sales and the bottom line but things are really looking up for 2016.

    Advice to Management

Stay the course for transitioning to a product-focused company and continue to be open and honest with the employees.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ClearPoint Learning Systems (Hoboken, NJ) in August 2014.

    Interview

The interview was standard...except the hiring manager changed the time and date for the interview three times. The first time she sent an email asking to move the time. The second time I received an email about an hour after the call was supposed to take place. The final and third attempt was successful, but rather routine.

    Interview Questions

    • No unexpected questions. Just a statement at the end of the interview that they were considering whether to make the position full time or contract work. There was no mention of contract work in the position announcement.   1 Answer
