I worked at CliniComp full-time (More than a year)
Excellent pay/benefits; nice physical workplace; lots of long-term employees; large and varied code base; HR is helpful and professional; stable and regular income stream from customers; interesting and inspiring goals.
Lack of clear direction to employees; long-simmering personal conflicts; some long-standing and deeply buried architectural flaws.
Advice to Management
Avoid trying to run everything through one middleware language. Think seriously about language design, don't just do it piecemeal. Check up regularly on employee progress.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CliniComp (San Diego, CA).
Phone interview followed up by face to face panel interview. The panel included Human Resources as well as several other Clinical Analysts. Everyone was very friendly, and the questions were fairly general. There seemed to be concern about how well stress was handled, implying that perhaps the job was quite stressful.
