Description Interlake Mecalux, once known as United Fixtures/Interlake (UFI/Interlake) and before that, Interlake Material Handling, is still handling customers' storage issues. It builds industrial storage pallet racks used in distribution centers, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and retail outlets, and many other facilities. Interlake Mecalux's products are delivered directly and through distributors to a diverse mix of businesses, including Amazon.com, The Home Depot, Nestlé, UPS, and Wal-Mart. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2009. It was one of several material-handling businesses taken over by Spanish shelving manufacturer Mecalux and incorporated into its US division under the Interlake Mecalux name.
