Description The Field School was founded in 1972 by a teacher, Elizabeth C. Ely. The School originated in downtown Washington, DC, and is now housed in the former Cafritz Mansion in Northwest Washington, DC. Field is home to a diverse group of 90+ passionate faculty and staff and 350 students in grades 6-12.
