Incept – Why Work For Us?

WE GET IT.

There’s truly nothing more valuable to your business than your customer base. The idea of letting someone else manage those relationships has you scared to death.

For someone to take care of your customers you need to know they are different.

We are. From the time we take to understand your business goals before presenting a solution to our willingness to develop a shared-risk pricing model to the investment we place on creating a Top Workplace culture, we’re different in the way we approach the relationship with you and your customers.

These donations of time and money are evaluated and distributed by a committee called Incept Gives, a small group of Incept employees that are passionate about making a difference in the world. The committee is made up of four important divisions:

  • Incept Gives Hope: We make direct donations locally and globally.
  • Incept Gives Help: We help our people in the places that make the biggest difference.
  • Incept Gives Back: We volunteer our time in our community as a way of giving back.
  • Incept Gives Purpose: We invest in people to generate economic development.

Since the creation of Incept Gives in 2010, the company has contributed over $350,000 to causes they are passionate about.  In the last year alone, we contributed more than $35,000 in donations.

I have been working at Incept part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Amazing work environment
    Fantastic benefits (dental,medical,vision, 401k)
Room for personal and professional growth
    Flexible work schedule
    Paid holidays

    Cons

    Repetitive work
Desk job = alot of sitting
Many lateral opportunities for growth, but not as many vertical advancement opportunities for those that show outstanding work ethic.

    Advice to Management

I've been in call center environments since I was 18 years old, I am now 36. By far, Incept is the only place I've been employed at that has invested so much into the well-being of it's employees along with the well-being of the company which creates such an amazing culture to be a part of and an amazing company to work for. The upper management team is personable, caring, receptive, and available to everyone. This leads to an environment that allows for even the newest employee to feel heard and accepted. The work can be a bit monotonous due to the nature of the business of being a contact center, however if you truly make an effort to be outstanding then there are opportunities to grow within the company. Incept is definitely a company worth working for if you are ambitious and ready for growth, they welcome all of your talents.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Incept (Canton, OH) in January 2018.

    Interview

Took a few days from the time I applied to get scheduled for an interview. I applied before and was unable to come in for an interview which seemed like an issue since the recruiter pointed that out and asked for an explanation on why I never interviewed before. Recruiter seemed uninterested throughout the interview, even yawned several times while talking with me. He seemed to half listen to what I was saying. Gave a very brief overview of the job description and company. Listened to an agent take a few calls before the interview ended. I believe he had no intentions on hiring me before I even came in for the interview.
