Mission: Collaborating with our clients to realize groundbreaking products through excellence in design, engineering & manufacturing
I have been working at Invetech full-time (Less than a year)
Since Colin White became president at Invetech there has been a cultural shift in the leadership. The San Diego office is a great place to work and the colleagues here are all high class technically and personally.
The recent growth initiative has helped the San Diego office reach the critical size to attract big exciting projects and everyone is busy and focused. If you like working for a company where there is no room for dead wood then Invetech will be a good fit for you.
The introduction of the Danaher Business System is getting serious attention and commitment from the leadership team and really has a lot to offer to anyone who believes in continuous improvement and turning problems into opportunities.
The travel commitment can be quite high depending on your position. If you are collaborating with colleagues in Melbourne you will need to be flexible in your work hours, but the company supports this in a variety of ways.
Advice to Management
Keep discussing the current strategic direction with colleagues at all levels to ensure alignment and transparency.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Invetech (San Diego, CA) in March 2014.
A few phone calls leading to an on-site interview. Asked to explain some assemblies. Asked to do CAD modeling of a part. They also had a Skype interview while on-site, with people in the other location.
