Company Updates

  • PDG participated in our first “PDG Gives Back” event supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Delaware and Philadelphia! We created 100 meal-kits containing quick lunch items and snacks for families that are going back and forth to the hospital. Having the ability to grab a quick meal leaves them with one less thing to worry about and we are thankful we could help them in this small way! In addition to providing the meal, we decorated the bags and added cheerful cards. The creativity and artistry across the entire team was amazing! When dropping the bags off to each RMH, the volunteer managers expressed their appreciation of our generous and thoughtful donation!

Team Malvern was not the only location giving back! PDGs virtual employees participated by supporting RMHC and other non-profit organizations all over the US in New York, Northern Virginia, Central Iowa, Illinois, Atlanta, and California!

"Our partnership with Facebook continues! Lacey Jennings, Kim Wipf, and Stephanie McBride will be leading a curriculum mapping effort for Facebook’s Global Marketing Solutions team! This is a fantastic opportunity... [as] the team will be looking at [approximately]15 roles and making recommendations aligned with formal and informal learning. Upon completion of the work on these roles the team will move to the remaining 30 plus and then… [hopefully Facebook will select us to partner with them to] build [their learning solution]! Huge thanks to Lacey, Kristine Stables, and Kim for partnering with Jason DeLeon on this great win!"

Quarter 3 PDG Employee of the Month (aka Rock Star) nomintion for Jenny Erdoes, PDG's Instructional Design Manager:

"Jenny is a consummate partner, she goes above and beyond in her job role, she works early hours, late hours, regular hours, jumps in with Sales, manages estimators, helps with SOWs, helps scoping and delivery, hand in hand with our PMs. She oversees and develops her ID team, partners with talent acquisition, and recommends and refers awesome candidates from her past work life. I am unsure how we could do all that we do as an organization and provide the leadership required to such a productive ID team – the fulcrum of our learning solutions and PDG deliverables!"

Look for updates on PDG Rock Stars here on a monthly/quarterly basis!

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Performance Development Group (Philadelphia, PA).

    Interview

Contacted by a recruiter via linked-in. Had a phone interview with the founder / CEO and then a Skype interview with the VP of Sales. Mainly fit interviews. Pleasant and very conversational. They were focused on getting to see how I viewed client interactions, company fit, ability to work quickly with little information.

    Interview Questions

    • They gave a relatively simple case study - it was fun and allowed more interaction with the VP of Sales and President.   Answer Question
