OOCL North America Group (US, Canada, Mexico), headquartered in Salt Lake UT, oversees the ground-based US operations of its parent, Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), a leading international marine container transporter that itself is the flagship subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Orient Overseas (International) Limited, or OOIL. In addition to marine transportation, OOCL offers logistics services. In conjunction, OOCL (NAG) specializes in arranging intermodal freight transportation, which involves moving customers' containers by multiple methods, such as trains and trucks, as well as ships, to their ultimate destination. The US business also provides terminal warehousing and distribution services.
